Strength training class just for men. Level 1. Learn basic techniques of weight training using dumbbells of various weights in a safe and effective manor. This class is taught by a certified personal trainer and is focused on proper form and safety. Participants need to be able to stand and do a variety of movements for the different muscle groups with weights; They also need to be able to lie down on a low bench to work the upper body chest and arms in addition to getting on the floor for abs and stretching.
If you have medical limitations or haven’t exercised in a long time, we advise that you start with Tone & Balance: a both standing and seated program that introduces a wide variety of movements to improve balance, stability, range of motion. Tone & Balance is a Co-Ed class that does not involve getting on the floor.
